Islas Marietas & Playa Escondida Tour

During the tour our naturalist guide and expert in marine life will explain the benefits of the bay and its ecosystem. After a wonderful trip we will arrive at the park, where you can practice snorkeling, swimming, kayaking or rowing, the marine fauna is incredible and you will be able to see birds such as the blue-footed booby, the brown booby, the frigates and under the sea, the needle fish , puffer fish, octopus, turtle, etc.

  • Visit to La Nopalera beach.
  • Water activities (snorkeling, kayaking, and paddle boarding).
  • Access to hidden beach (love beach).

Due to its importance for the ecosystem, visits to the Marietas Islands are regulated by CONANP (National Commission of Protected Natural Areas) and there are certain limitations that we must respect to ensure the least possible impact.

Traditional Islas Marietas Tour

Located to the north of Puerto Vallarta, the Islas Marietas National Park is an ecological refuge that has become an unmissable tourist attraction due to its spectacular landscapes, reefs and clear waters. The two islands that make up this archipelago are home to a great diversity of birds and marine species that you can see with the naked eye.

Our adventure for the Islas Marietas Tour begins from the journey (which lasts approximately two hours and 15 minutes), where in addition to being able to observe the different towns that make up the Bay of Banderas from the sea, we will offer information about the islands, the flora, fauna, places to visit and operating regulations. Upon arrival, we will form three groups:

  • Visit to La Nopalera beach.
  • Go snorkelling.
  • Ecotour.

Whale Watching Tour in Puerto Vallarta

Our bay has the privilege of observing and listening to humpback whales. Humpback whales visit us every year, their season is from December to March. The warm waters of our bay are perfect for giving birth to their young, feeding them and preparing their return trip north.

Our boat is designed so that you can appreciate them from any perspective, equipped with a hydrophone to listen to their songs. The tour is guided by a biologist who will teach you about these mammals.

Humpback whales live in groups, but they are usually small, unstable groups; the only lasting bond occurs between the mother-son duo. The groups are more stable in summer, when they cooperate in the search for food.

We begin our adventure leaving the marina in search of these beautiful beings. We cross part of the bay in contact with other boats and attentive to the sea looking for the whales or the trail they leave when they come out to breathe.

When we find a group of whales due to environmental and protection rules, we keep our distance so as not to disturb the whales. But we are far enough away to see how majestic they are. It is a unique experience!

Los Arcos / Las Ánimas / Quimixto Tour

If you are looking to combine adventures, landscapes and three paradisiacal places, then this tour is for you. To the south of Puerto Vallarta are Las Ánimas and Quimixto, a couple of typical fishing villages that still retain their charm and can only be reached by boat. A little before arriving, there are the iconic Arcos de Mismaloya, a protected area where it is possible to practice snorkeling to observe a large number of marine species.

Our boat leaves in the morning to visit these enigmatic places in the south of the bay. During the journey, you will have the privilege of observing all of Puerto Vallarta from the sea and our guides will explain a little about its history, climate, traditions and the best places to visit. Beach Boy Cruises has you covered!

Upon arrival at Los Arcos de Mismaloya, our passengers will be able to dive into the sea to practice snorkeling and be able to appreciate a large number of colorful fish. We will be there for about 45 minutes. After this activity, two groups are formed: those who stay in Las Ánimas and those who go to Quimixto.

While people who go to Quimixto will have the opportunity to tour the town and visit a waterfall that can be reached on foot or on horseback (some local providers provide this service), those who stay in Las Ánimas will be able to enjoy up to three hours of sand, sea and excellent restaurant service*.

Upon returning from Quimixto, the people who stayed in Las Ánimas get on the boat to start enjoying the national open bar and we wait for those who went to the waterfall to eat and together in Las Animas return to Puerto Vallarta (during the trip , games, raffles, dances and a great party atmosphere are organized).

Durante el recorrido nuestro guía naturalista y experto en vida marina explicará los beneficios de la bahía y su ecosistema. Después de un maravilloso viaje llegaremos al parque, donde podrá practicar snorkel, natación, kayak o remo, la fauna marina es increíble y podrá ver aves como el bobo de patas azules, el bobo brown, las fragatas y bajo el mar, el pez aguja, pez globo, pulpo, tortuga, etc.

Los Arcos / Las Ánimas / Quimixto

Si estás buscando combinar aventuras, paisajes y tres paradisíacos lugares, entonces este tour es para ti. Hacia el sur de Puerto Vallarta se encuentran Las Ánimas y Quimixto, un par de pueblitos típicos de pescadores que aún conservan su encanto y a los que únicamente se puede llegar en bote. Un poco antes de llegar, están los icónicos Arcos de Mismaloya, una zona protegida en la que es posible practicar esnórquel para observar una gran cantidad de especies marinas.

Nuestro barco sale por la mañana para visitar estos enigmáticos lugares del sur de la bahía. Durante el trayecto, tendrás el privilegio de observar todo Puerto Vallarta desde el mar y nuestros guías te explicarán un poco sobre su historia, clima, tradiciones y mejores lugares para visitar. ¡Cruceros Beach Boy tiene todo cubierto!

Al llegar a Los Arcos de Mismaloya, nuestros pasajeros podrán sumergirse al mar para practicar esnórquel y poder apreciar una gran cantidad de peces de colores. Ahí estaremos alrededor de 45 minutos.Después de esta actividad, se forman dos grupos: los que se quedan en Las Ánimas y los que van a Quimixto.

Mientras que las personas que se van a Quimixto tendrán la oportunidad de recorrer el pueblo y visitar una cascada a la que se puede llegar caminando o en caballo (algunos proveedores locales proporcionan este servicio), los que se quedan en Las Ánimas podrán disfrutar hasta tres horas de la arena, el mar y un excelente servicio de restaurante*.

Al regreso de Quimixto, las personas que se quedaron en Las Ánimas suben al barco para comenzar a disfrutar de la barra libre nacional y esperamos a los que fueron a la cascada para que coman y juntos en las Animas regresar a Puerto Vallarta (durante el trayecto, se organizan juegos, rifas, bailes y un gran ambiente de fiesta).

**Las bebidas y platillos en el restaurante de la playa no están incluidos en el precio del tour.

Ubicado hacia el norte de Puerto Vallarta, el Parque Nacional Islas Marietas es un refugio ecológico que se ha convertido en un imperdible atractivo turístico por sus espectaculares paisajes, arrecifes y aguas tan claras. Nuestra aventura para el Tour Islas Marietas comienza desde el trayecto (que dura aproximadamente dos horas y 15 minutos), donde además de poder observar desde el mar a las distintas poblaciones que conforman la Bahía de Banderas, ofreceremos información sobre las islas, la flora, fauna, lugares a visitar y los reglamentos de operación. Tour Avistamiento de Ballenas en Puerto Vallarta

Nuestra bahía tiene el privilegio de observar, y escuchar a las ballenas jorobadas. Las ballenas jorobadas nos visitan cada año, su temporada es de Diciembre a Marzo. Las aguas cálidas de nuestra bahía son perfectas para dar luz a sus crías, los alimenten y preparen su viaje de regreso hacia el norte.

Nuestra embarcación está diseñada para que puedas apreciarlas desde cualquier perspectiva, equipado con hidrófono para escuchar sus cantos. El tour es guiado por una bióloga que te enseñará acerca de estos mamíferos.

Las ballenas jorobadas viven en grupos, pero usualmente se trata de grupos pequeños e inestables; el único lazo duradero ocurren entre el dúo madre-hijo. Los grupos son más estables en verano, cuando cooperan en la búsqueda de alimento.

Iniciamos nuestra aventura saliendo de la marina en búsqueda de estos bellos seres. Recorremos parte de la bahía en contacto con otras embarcaciones y atentos al mar buscando las ballenas o el rastro que dejan al salir a respirar.

Cuando encontramos un grupo de ballenas por reglas de medio ambiente y protección mantenemos nuestra distancia para no molestar a las ballenas. Pero estamos a suficiente distancia para ver lo majestuoso de estas. ¡Es una experiencia única!
